Billing Q&As

  1. Who do I contact with questions regarding billing?
    The Medicus Billing Department can address account specific questions by emailing billing@norcal-group.com or calling 866-815-2023. You may also contact your Underwriter or Market Manager for general direct bill questions.

  2. Are automatic recurring payments by credit card available?
    Not at this time (i.e. we cannot hold a credit card on file to bill monthly)

  3. Can an insured finance payments through a third party?
    Yes. However, the insured is responsible for all interest charges and fees.

  4. Are there any finance charges with Direct Bill through Medicus?
    Not at this time. All finance options through Medicus are available at 0% financing.

  5. Are any other payment terms available?
    Not at this time. An insured may make over payments between billing cycles. Overages will be credited to future payments(s).

  6. What is the penalty for late payment?
    Payment not made in a timely fashion may result in cancellation of the policy.

  7. Where should payments be made?
    Payments are to be made directly to Medicus Insurance Company.

    Forms of payment accepted: ACH, check by mail, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, money order, cashier's check or wire transfer. Auto payments can be made with ACH only. Credit card payments can also be made over the phone.

  8. Does Medicus offer ACH?
    Medicus offers electronic ACH payments with three options.

    • 12 Equal Monthly Installments (Only Available for ACH)
    • Quarterly 25% down, 3 Equal Quarterly Installments
    • Pay In Full
